What we do

Every day, 365 days a year, UIP Operations performs a number of tasks, each of which helps to give our users of the various bicycle sharing services as well as travelers with public transport in and around Oslo a better experience. Whether it is to wait by a freshly cleaned, modern bus shelter or to ride away on a solid city bike from one carefully planned station to another. Because we have operations, planning and engineering, and customer service in the same company, we achieve the full effect of our experiences that benefit our users and clients.

Our teams perform a wide range of tasks daily, to the delight of the city’s users. We make sure that the city bike systems in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim are in operation for our tens of thousands of customers, and that they get good answers and help when they get in touch. We plan and build stations that optimize city bike systems, as well as new shelters at 200 bus and tram stops in Oslo. We wash and remove graffiti on shelters, change light bulbs and broken glass so that everyone has a good travel experience.

Operations

Since 2016, we have ensured that Oslo City Bike is one of the world’s most used city bike systems, and the experiences we have gained in relocating, repairs and efficient operation we have brought with us to Bergen and Trondheim. In addition, we fix and clean 500 bus shelters on behalf of Clear Channel all over the eastern area of Norway.

Project and Construction Management

Our experienced urban planners and project staff are experts in establishing urban micro-infrastructure, having visited, designed and been responsible for applications and building of many hundreds of construction projects, mainly city bike stations and shelters. We have experience from construction on municipal and private property, with various actors and clients, and take care of everything in the process.

Customer service

Our customer center receives inquiries from users of the city bike systems in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim, as well as customers of Bilkollektivet. Annually, we process around 68,000 conversations via telephone, email, chat and social media. We have employees at work from 07 to 23, 365 days a year.
